Mississippi Memories
Whenever I think about my father and visiting him in rural Mississippi, my memories include the narrow two-lane road that leads to his house, the massive trees, bushes in the front yard, and his garden that he loves so much. I draw the objects from those memories in this series because they make me feel close to him, especially with him being so far away. This past year was tough because I couldn't visit, but I will soon and make more memories and add to this series.

My Quiet Place
I am not what you would call an outdoors person, but I am fascinated with nature's shapes. My drawings are more of a surreal version of what you might find outdoors or in the water, but that's what I am moved to create. The process is very meditative and a way for me to escape the real world.
